Hope Assistance Local Tradies
We aim to build a bridge between existing support services for people at risk of suicide and our local community. That is, to facilitate the spreading of information and raise Awareness of groups such as Lifeline and Beyond Blue on a national level and local health organisations in smaller communities.
We have identified a need for greater support for people at risk, especially men in ‘Tradie’ occupations, although we recognise the need for such support is broad. Our aim is to target the ‘Tradies’.
Our objectives are education and awareness of mental health issues. We want the ‘blokes’ to know it is OK to feel tired, stressed, frustrated and be ok with the vulnerability that comes with seeking assistance if and when they need it.

Building a bridge between existing support services for people at risk and the local community. HALT’s vision is that every “Tradie” in Australia knows how to look after their mental health and well-being.
